Went to the movies yesterday at the last minute with a friend and this was the only one that fit our schedules.

I want my money back.

It’s a bullshit Navy propaganda film, rife with bullshit pro-white, anti-Islamic/non white messages and bullshit in your face jingoism and fearmongering.

Pardon my strong language, but the entire time I was just getting increasingly angry at how incredibly racist the movie was.

The Marines literally murder at least 4 people by my count in this film -not including combatants- all the while trying to make you care that these men don’t die.

That said, the action was entertaining and shot well. Being that this film was made so closely with the US Navy the realism of battle is on point. The military tech is also pretty cool, if not worrysome.

As a film I’d give it a 6/10, but for the message and themes I’m gonna have to drop it down to a 2/10. I simply couldn’t get past the blatant hate being spewed by this movie.

If you only see one movie in theaters this year, don’t make it this one.

Save your money and if you really feel the need to watch a two hour recruitment video, torrent it.
